Our Aims
- Protect and enhance fisheries as eco-systems where fish populations (and wider flora and fauna) can thrive for today's and future generations.
- Promote good practice to maximise successful catch and release, including those fishing to eat (e.g. live release of juvenile fish.)
Our Activities
Via collaborative partnerships promote:
- Recreational angling: single point (circle) hooks to support successful catch and release.
- Commercial sea fisheries: certified non-offset circle hooks in long-line fisheries to maximise successful by-catch live-release.
